Our Story
Finding a low price for any product is easy. What’s difficult is finding high-quality products that will meet your needs.
However, we are in an era where most companies produce low-cost, easy-to-manufacturer, simple tungsten, and molybdenum products. They do this to achieve high sales and quick profits.
To deliver the best tungsten products, our president, also the general engineer, Mr. Ma, has been investing his 20-year experience and expertise in the research and development of high-quality tungsten products for our clients.
His work aims to meet most end-users’ customized requests for smaller, thinner, more complex, and more precise tungsten and molybdenum products and production lines. He’s committed to end-products that have a better life than those in the market.
Yes, since we began in 2000, we don’t follow the practices of other companies.
But what motivated Yolo Metal to start this journey to precision manufacturing of high-quality tungsten?
Mr. Ma, an entrepreneur who started from scratch in Luoyang, China, is aware of three crucial facts: In the world’s eye, made-in-china means low-level quality.
There’s limited working space. Tight budgets prevent start-ups from embarking on the large tungsten and molybdenum business This knowledge set him on a mission to build something different. He wanted something that could prove the made-in-china strength and our ingenuity spirit.
“My wish since the day I started this company was to put a higher priority on high precision rather than on simple technology. ” Ma Said. At Yolo, we take pride in being front-runners in the complexity and extremeness of tungsten and molybdenum production. Our goal is to see our metal landing at the bottom of our customer’s success ladder” Mr. Ma commented
A tight spot
Beginners are adopting implicit purchasing rules for minimizing the risk of trial and error, that is, choosing a reputation and a well-known manufacturer. Although the price is not low, it is accepted by default.
This practice was caught in a tight spot from the start. This is because many customers did not trust the quality of Chinese products, especially precision products with high tolerance requirements and complex processing. Some of these customers have worked with Germany and Japan, which is famous for tungsten processing, for many years.
But after trying our products, the users have found that Yolo’s products are as good as their products. Our products match up whether it is in the tolerance control or the difficult mechanical processing!
In 2016, as a leader in response to national environmental protection policies, we expanded the area of our factory and relocated to a new industrial park almost 30kilometers away from the original site.
What about the workers?
Most of them chose to follow our footprints.
Chou, the QC, has stayed with us for nearly 18 years
Li, the machining worker, 12 years
Wang, the technician, 15 years
The names on the list could go on and on.
What makes a great company tick? Why do some companies make the leap from good to great? How and why do some thrive in chaos?
No enterprise can become or remain truly great without a core set of principles to preserve and build upon. These principles serve as an anchor and guide in the face of an ever-changing world.
At the same time, no company can remain great without stimulating progress-change, renewal, improvement, and the pursuit of BHAGS. YOLO maintains long-term research and study of the market.
It develops new products and new application areas to keep providing customers with a variety of tungsten and molybdenum products and customized services.
When you blend these two together: preserve the core principles and stimulate progress, you get a magical diet that keeps a company vibrant over time.
You may ask what YOLO is built upon for the past 20 years and how will it thrive for another 20 years to come?
